Wedding Reception Inspiration

When I think of wedding receptions, I think of a big hall filled with round, white-tablecloth-topped tables set with vases of roses. Classic … and boring. Well, the current Portland Bride & Groom magazine has the anecdote.

For this issue, Wendi shot several pages of chic wedding reception styles that future brides can use as inspiration to break out of the wedding day box.

From vibrant settings infused with happy, bold colors, to cozy spreads inspired by fall, there’s a reception theme for every style and personality.

Wendi said the photo shoot was a blast (and was particularly happy to have work that didn’t require her to travel for once). Her favorite spread is the first one (below), with its autumnal and oh-so-Portland blend of wood, Pendleton blankets and bourbon. I can’t help but agree.
